6 Things I’ve Learned After a Night Alone With My Newborn Nephew

images (3)1) While attempting to get said newborn to sleep: keep moving no matter what. Bonus it’s an excellent way to get more steps into your day!

2) Seven pounds gets heavy fast.

3) Whatever you do don’t switch arms it’s not worth it. He’s so comfortable. 

4) You will be rightly punished for eating half a snickers when the baby wakes up to the wrapper noise. You know you shouldn’t be eating candy missy. 

5) Put their diaper back on immediately; you will regret it if you don’t. However I have now been initiated into the newborn boy club.

6) Get a phone with more storage, every single muscle twitch is adorable and must be recorded.

    Awww, what a great Auntie! Newborn stage is such a special time.There is not a scent better than a freshly clean baby.
