Perfection

11 Jun

agirlandherseamonsterWhen I don’t meet a level of self-perceived perfection I can feel this creature in my stomach stirring.

Angry at my performance.

Angry when I don’t complete a task as quickly as I would like.

Angry that I missed a detail.

Angry that I didn’t consider an unforeseen aspect.

Even when I achieve said perfection the greedy creature isn’t satisfied; it could always be more, be better.
